INTRODUCTION :
Lucas Electronics' Granule filling machine is net weight filler, in which a
pre-determined weight of the product is automatically weighed and then deposited
into the empty container/pouches. This machine is suitable for filling all types
of granular materials such as seeds, cereals, grains, granulated pesticides,
tea, cashew-nuts, extruded plastic granules, food-products, betel-nuts, etc.
Being net weight filler, it can fill into any type of pouch or rigid container.
The different models can cover a filling range of 100 to 10000 grams. For most
products a filling speed of 8 / 15 fills per minute is guaranteed. The duplex
models have two machines coupled together and therefore double the filling
speed. The product from the hopper is drawn out by two electric vibratory
feeders and is fed into the weight-pan suspended from a sensitive Load cell
weight beam. Both the coarse and dribble feeders feed the product fast until
about 80 per cent is filled at which point the coarse feeder stops. The rest of
the product is fed at a dribble for greater accuracy until the final cut-off,
which takes place when the exact weight is received into the weight-bucket. The
weighed product is then automatically discharged from the weight-bucket into the
empty pouch or container. All the contact parts are made of SS 304 and the
machine body duly powder coated. This machine is approved by the Weights and
Measures.
